Transform your bed with a Memory Foam Mattress Protector. Perfect for those with sore back, hips, neck, or joints. Also good if you are looking to fix a lumpy bed (it absorbs those lumps and bumps).
Memory foam was originally designed for use in high-speed crash situations. The foam is made with air pockets that compress with impact.
It works really well for those looking for softness or cushioning to hide lumps and bumps in the bed. It's perfect for those with sore back, hips, neck, or joints, or even rheumatoid arthritis.
It's not really recommended for a bed that is too hard or saggy, or those with a bad back that needs a firmer bed. If that's the case - we recommend a latex topper.
We often get asked about cool gel or graphite gel. Yes, they do work, but like most insulation methods, they will heat up to room/body temperature after a couple of hours. This may be all you need as the cool of the night sets in. If not, we have been given anecdotal feedback that the memory foam is a little warm. So if you are a hot sleeper and don't need so much softness, consider a wool underlay instead.
On average we think a 5cm or a 7.5cm will do the trick. If you are lighter or smaller, or the issue with the bed is not that bad, then go a thinner (and therefore cheaper) topper.
